Moody Blues

About Moody Blues

Initially another British Invasion R&B band following the Beatles in the mid sixties, the Moody Blues proved exceptional by quickly evolving their own Prog Rock style, a sort of fusion of psychedelic and classical that helped invent that genre.

Starting with their second album, Days of Future Passed and its instant classic “Nights in White Satin” in 1967, the Moodies began a string of chart-topping releases that went on for over twenty years…“I Know You’re Out There Somewhere” being a top 40 hit in 1988, the latest in a string of hits in the eighties.
